| Published by Today's News Herald on Feb. 5, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Florence "Flo" Patricia Belza, 83, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2023 in Lake Havasu City. She was surrounded by friends and family. Flo was born on Feb. 12,1939 in Ireland to Edward and Jane Kane. They moved to Hamilton Ontario, Canada where she met and married her husband Thomas Belza on May 27, 1967. Together, they raised three children Scott, Stacy ("Missy") and Nicole ("Nikki"). After living in Fountain Valley, California, the family moved to Lake Havasu City where she resided since 1975. She was a caring and devoted mother and grandmother, and her warm personality brought joy to people around her. Over the years, she enjoyed many activities including camping and boating, horseshoes, bowling, and one of her very favorites, singing karaoke with friends. Flo was predeceased by her daughter Nikki in 1997. She is survived by husband Thomas, son Scott, daughter Stacy, son and daughter in-laws Tony, Busara, and grandchildren Taylor and Monica. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. A celebration of life is being planned and will be communicated at a future date.
