Father Of Local Man Summoned In Oklahoma

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Compton and children, Glenda, Barbara and Larry, 
returned last week from Lawton, Okla., where they had been called by the 
death of Mr. Compton's father, J. W. Compton. Mr. Compton had lived here 
with his son for a year, moving to Lawton only about three months ago. He 
passed away suddenly September 9 from a heart attack. Services were held 
in Lawton September 12.

Besides his son here, who is a dispatcher for the Ruber Tank Line, he is 
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Laura Buzbee of Lawton.
