ALVORD, James Breck

Published by Today's News Herald on Mar. 26, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - James Breck Alvord, 67, left us and returned to his heavenly home on March 18, 2023. He was born in Long Beach, California in 1955 and moved with his family to Lake Havasu City in 1965. He married the love of his life, Dawn in 1978. Together they have 5 children, Jason (Kylie), Daina, Sherry (BJ), Jared (Jessica), and Cassie (Michael). He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Kelci, Kasyn, Dovriel, Waylon, Weston, Dune, Beau, Willow, Finn and by his many loving family members, friends and members of the community. His main sources of joy were his relationship with the Lord, time with his family, friends, and the beauty of the outdoors, music, writing, cars, boats and anything with a motor. Above all, he was a man of integrity, saw the beauty in things, and brought laughter and joy wherever he went. No amount of time with him would have ever been enough. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, McCulloch campus, 1605 McCulloch Blvd S. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11a.m.
