BUSEY, William Allen

Published by Today's News Herald on Apr. 2, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - William Allen Busey passed away peacefully at his home in Kingman, Arizona on March 18, 2023. He was born in Reno, Nevada on July 8, 1953 to his parents Douglas and Rita Busey. After graduation from Wooster High School, he went to trade school in construction and spent his whole life in that occupation. He was always there to help friends and family through their home repairs, always fixing something for someone. As a young man he enjoyed swimming, skiing, tennis, fishing and hunting; but golf was his true passion. Everyone who knew Bill would agree he was a very apt player who truly loved the game. Later in his life, he moved to Arizona where he enjoyed taking rundown fixer uppers and turning them into wonderful homes; and of course playing golf. Bill was a loving father, wonderful brother and dear friend to many. Bill is survived by his son Sean and daughter Sara, his brothers Doug and Bob, and his sisters Brenda and Sandy. He will be forever loved and missed. A family memorial is planned in Reno. His favorite charity was the Special Olympics.
