Johnnie R. Swift, 69, a retired rancher and dairyman, who came to 
Phoenix 60 years ago from his native Llano, Tex., died yesterday in 
Phoenix Veterans Hospital.

Mr. Swift, 6226 N. 47th Ave., was a Navy veteran of World War I. He was 
a Methodist church member.

Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback, 
where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in 
Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale.

Survivors include his wife, Opal; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Lewis and 
Marion Lee Swift;  brother, Luther D.; and a sister, Mrs. Lillie 
Tumblison, all of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
