Sharon Lee Drives, 87, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on March 26, 
2023. She was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Peoria, Illinois. She graduated 
from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 
interior design.

Sharon was married to Dr. John J. Drives. She raised three children and 
worked as an Interior designer. She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran 
Church and dedicated time to AAUW and Lake Havasu Yacht Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her son, Peter and her 
sister, Lolly.

Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Drives (Victor 
Phillpotts), Fort Lauderdale, Florida and her other daughter, Mary Ellen 
Seeman (William), Circle Pines, MN. She also is survived by her 
grandchildren, Ian Phillpotts, Canton, Georgia; Keely Weyker (Chad), 
Davie, Florida; Quinn Phillpotts, Canton, Georgia; Erin Hall (Byron), 
Circle Pines, Minnesota; Patrick Seeman, St. Paul, Minnesota and great-
grandchild, Killian Hall. Sharon is also survived by her siblings, 
George Abendroth (Sara), Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and Jim Abendroth 
(Mary), Bloomington, New York.
