| Yuma Sun or Yuma Daily News Newspaper Tuesday, December 26, 1989 Gladys Barnette, 73, of Yuma died Dec. 25, 1989, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Desert Lawn. Johnson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. She was born Jan. 27, 1916, in New York City. A resident of Yuma since 1951, she was a school secretary at O.C. Johnson School for 22 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Survivors include her daughters Joan Brullo and DeeDee Smith, both of Yuma, Linda Golden of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Bobbi Jaeckel of Mesa; sister Dorothy Sturcz of New Jersey; four grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Pallbearers include Frank Brullo, W. Michael Smith, Pete Golden, Hank Cooper and Tony Brullo. |
