JONES, Karma A.

Published by The Miner on May 4, 2023 - Kingman, Arizona - Karma A. Jones passed away April 22, 2023, she was 74 years old. Karma was born in Leadville, Colorado to Leonard and Ethel Hulslander on March 23, 1949. Karma is survived by her husband, William Jones; two sisters, Arta Wray (Ron) and Bernice Kieme; her children, Wayne Collins (Gina), Donna Gray (Sean), Brad Jones, Kathleen Sitton (Billy), Janna Harmon (Lori), Julie Wemmert and Jackie Valdez (Steve). Karma has many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved and enjoyed dearly. Karma is preceded in death by both parents; son, Richard Jones (Meredith); daughter, Joanna Jones; five brothers and two sisters. Karma grew up in Colorado, marrying her soulmate William Jones in May 1985. They moved to Kingman in 1991, where she worked and retired from Director of Food Service for Kingman Unified School District in 2008. Karma loved adventure, cruises, traveling to new places, music, gardening and scuba diving. She enjoyed going to Lake Powell for weekend fun and water skiing where many memories were made with grandkids, family and friends. Karma always hosted family dinners and holiday gatherings. She enjoyed getting together, eating and playing cards. She and Bill played Rummy daily and she was always up for a good Hand and Foot game on weekends. Karma touched many lives, and had a huge heart, she will be dearly missed. Memorial service will be announced at a later time.
