Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, January 30, 1959, p. 10 Miss Gene Gaunt Dies In Arkansas Miss Gene Norris Gaunt, only daughter of H. E. (Nick) Gaunt of Phoenix, former manager of the Valley National Bank here, died December 26 in El Dorado, Ark., after an illness of three months. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in that city December 27. Miss Gaunt was born in El Dorado October 7, 1926. Until her illness, she was associated with the Murphy Corp. in that city and was secretary of the Business & Professional Women's Club there. She had visited here frequently and had many friends in Wickenburg. During 1957 she lived in Phoenix where she was employed in the trust department of the Valley National Bank. The father and Mrs. Gaunt visited her in El Dorado last October. Surviving, in addition to the father, are the mother, Mrs. Mary Norris Gaunt of El Dorado, and three aunts, Mrs. J. L. Jackson of El Dorado and Mrs. N. R. Dickinson and Mrs. Chares Mason, both of San Antonio, Texas.
