Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, February 27, 1959, p. 1 John Fred Dery Rites Saturday In St. Anthony's Funeral services for John Fred Dery will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. D. F. O'Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Dery arose at his usual time Wednesday morning, had breakfast and was shaving when he died suddenly of a heart attack at 8:30 o'clock in his home on the Phoenix Highway. In recent years Mr. Dery had been the accountant at the Ryan-Evans Drug Store here. Just prior to that he was a clerk with the Highway Department here. He was an accountant by profession but during the 22 years he had lived in Wickenburg he also did some construction work. He was born in Port Henry, N.Y., 74 years ago. Surviving are the widow; one son, Charles Dery of New London, Conn.; one daughter, Mrs. Olive Hanne of China Lake, Calif.; and eight grandchildren. The daughter is the wife of Warren Hanne, former Wickenburg resident and brother of Neil Hanne of this town.
