John Violetta Rites Sunday

Funeral services will be conducted in Aguila at 4 p.m. Sunday for John
Violetta, well known and respected Aguila cattleman, who died early
Thursday morning while enroute to Community Hospital here. Burial will
be in the Aguila Cemetery.

Mr. Violetta was born January 13, 1897, in Kansas. He came to Arizona
while a little boy and had been ranching and caring for cattle in the
Wenden, Aguila, Wickenburg and Prescott area for over 55 years. At the
time of his death he was employed by the Aguila Cattle Co.

Surviving are the widow, Mattie Violetta; a stepson, Arthur Bleeker; and
a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pearl Dees, all of Aguila.
