| Published by Today's News Herald on Jun. 18, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joyce Hartman, 72, passed away on June 8, 2023 in Lake Havasu City. She was born on March 7, 1951 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Robert Deese and Anne Smith. Joyce moved to Lake Havasu City in 1986, and in 1986 she met the love of her life, John Hartman. They were married in 1995 and together shared over 28 years of wedded bliss. They spent as much of their time on the lake boating. She worked as the morning waitress at London Bridge Resort. Joyce made many friends and acquaintances everywhere she went. She was a sweet and gentle spirit who loved many and was loved by many. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Anne, her daughter Tami, sisters Pam and Theresa, and brother Bryan. She is survived by her loving husband John, son Gary, brother Steve, and granddaughter Serenity. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
