Rion W. Rodricks

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Rion W. Rodricks, also known as Ry by his friends and family, was born
on Nov. 8, 1945 in Oakland, California to Virginia Jane and Joseph
William Rodricks. On May 12, 2023, Rion passed away in his home in Lake
Havasu City.

Ry received special training in aircraft mechanics and planning. On June
6, 1964, Ry enlisted in the army at the age of 18 where he received a
National Defense Service medal, Marksman (rifle M-14) medal, and an
Aircraft Crewman badge. Ry was a federal government retiree and retired
from Alameda Naval Air in Northern California.

Ry married the love of his life, Janice, and joined their life together
in Laughlin, Nevada on Feb. 20, 2003. They have been married for 20
wonderful years. Ry has four children and six beautiful grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, pops, and papa. He will be greatly missed.

Ry was a member of the American Legion, VA, American Firefighters, and
supported wounded warriors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, he was a
volunteer fireman as well as a volunteer EMT.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Rodricks from Lake Havasu City; his
son, Mark Rodricks from Las Vegas; daughters Michelle Kaufman from
Stigler, Oklahoma and Krista Hammer from Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Ry is preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Joseph Rodricks;
his daughter, Kari Rodricks and granddaughter, Riley Rodricks.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
