Kerr Dies In Chicago Mr. & Mrs. Don Kerr left by plane Tuesday evening for Chicago to attend funeral services for Mr. Kerr's mother, Mrs. William R. Kerr, Jr., who died in that city Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Kerr, who was the former Annie Louise Dodge, was born in Dixon, Ill., August 9, 1878. She was married to Mr. Kerr September 2, 1903. For the past several years they had lived on Chicago's North Lake Shore Drive. Mrs. Kerr was active in the American Red Cross, the Episcopal Church and was one of the early officers of the Parent-Teachers Association of Illinois. She had visited Wickenburg on two occasions while her son and daughter-in-law operated the Slash Bar K Ranch. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Don of Wickenburg, and William D. of Chicago; five grandchildren including Donald R. (Sandy) Kerr, Jr., and Karen Kerr of Wickenburg; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were to be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Chicago with burial in Dixon, Ill., today (Friday). |
