Mrs. C. W. Byerly Dies In California

Mrs. Charles W. (Faye) Byerly died in the Placer County Hospital, Auburn, 
Calif., October 3, according to a telegram received here by Mrs. Russell 
Quinn. No further details were learned.

Mr. & Mrs. Byerly came to Arizona in 1910 from Oregon by horse-drawn 
wagon, a trip that required six months to make. They settled first in 
Phoenix, later lived in Chino Valley, and moved to Wickenburg in 1935. 
They had been living on Palm Drive when they moved to Auburn in 1956 to be 
near friends. Mr. Byerly is a retired rancher. Mrs. Byerly was 77 years 
old. She had no children.
