Arlene Enos Harrah
April 16, 1943 - August 2, 2023

On Aug. 2, 2023, Arlene Enos Harrah, while surrounded by her family and listening to her favorite songs, left her earthly body to go be with the Lord. Arlene was born April 16, 1943, to parents Edwin and Agnes Enos. She was one of seven children and the last surviving member of her siblings. Arlene was a member of the Gila River Indian Community and graduated from Phoenix Indian High School. She would then go on to receive her LPN.

Arlene was a member of the only women's team in the men's bowling league that competed at the Wickenburg bowling alley. She was also the pitcher for the Wickenburg Woodies, an adult softball team. In her later years, she enjoyed reading thriller novels, going to local yard sales, attending bingo every Thursday with her husband, Paul Harrah, and catching The Young and The Restless or Judge Judy on TV.

More than anything else, Arlene loved spending time with her family. She was the loving wife to her husband Paul and amazing mother to their four beautiful children Shannon, Sonya, Shawn and Jedidiah. Arlene was a caring grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 11. Although all of us here on earth will still miss her dearly, we can take comfort in knowing that she rests peacefully in heaven with all the family that she has been missing, including but not limited to her only daughter Sonya and her youngest son Jedidiah.

A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Gila River District 6 Learning Center (5230 W. Saint Johns Rd., Laveen). Gravesite service will be Held at Co-Op Cemetery. Crossroads are Estella Rd & Co-Op Blvd. in the Gila River Indian Community of Laveen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home (602) 276-3601.
