THOMAS, David Eugene

Published by Today's News Herald from Aug. 8 to Aug. 9, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - David Eugene Thomas was born Feb. 20, 1963 in Key West, Florida at the U.S. Naval Hospital. His family moved to Long Beach, California where he grew up and went to school and had many friends and still remains friends over the years. Dave was spontaneous, had a great sense of humor and always strived to do his best. Dave was married to his loving wife, Penny Thomas for 33 years and together 40 years. They are proud parents of a beautiful daughter Hayley Thomas who Dave called "Baby Girl". He was an awesome husband and father. Dave worked for Long Beach School District and later moved to Lake Havasu where he worked at McCulloch Corp and Sterilite Corp. Dave loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his motorcycle. You would never forget him once you met him, you would think that you had known him forever. He was a giving person and always willing to help someone out. Dave is preceded in death by his father Robert Lester Thomas, his mother Shirley Ann Thomas, and his sister Alice Thomas. He is survived by his brothers Scott Thomas and Robert Thomas. David, you will be forever missed. Rest in peace. We love you. You're going to the Spirit in the Sky. We will meet you there.
