Terry Frenzel Is Gun Shot Victim
Wickenburg friends of Mr. & Mrs. Jack Frenzel of Catalina Island,
Calif., former residents here, will be saddened to learn of the death of
their son, Terry Michael Frenzel, April 1. According to the Catalina
Island newspaper, handed The SUN by Mrs. Frank Crozier, the 13-year-old
boy was shot by a .38 automatic pistol in the hands of 12-year-old James
Price, also of Catalina.
The two boys were playing in the home of a third friend, according to
the newspaper account, constructing a model airplane. Price was cutting
silk for a wing and, having some difficulty, crossed the room to use the
top of a television set as a table. There he saw the pistol, picked it
up, and in the act of opening the breech it accidently discharged with
the bullet striking the Frenzel boy. The bullet had gone through the
boy's heart.
Surviving are his parents; a brother, Billy; and a sister, Jacque.
The father was in the real estate business here prior to moving to
California.
