| Robert S. McClellan, 58, owner of Southwest Aero Specialties, died July 5, 1986, at Veterans Administration Medical Center. Mr. McClellan, of Phoenix, was born in Los Angeles and moved to Arizona in 1967 from Nevada. He was a Navy pilot during World War II and worked as a corporation pilot in Salt Lake City, Evanston, Wyo., and Jackpot, Nev. He moved to Phoenix to manage Phoenix Aviation and in 1975 he bought the Award Mart. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Joanne; daughters, Bobbie Joe and Lisa Marie; sons, Robert K., Lee Roy, Alan S. and Clifford G.; father David Alvin; four sisters; three brothers; and five grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Mercer Mortuary & Chapel, 1541 E. Thomas Road. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at his church, 2222 N. 40th Street. The Arizona Republic July 9, 1986 |
