| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 23, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - John Scott was born in Malawi, South Africa on April 1, 1931. After attending some college in England, John immigrated to America with the help of a sponsor in 1952. In his younger years, John enjoyed weightlifting and off-roading in the desert. In his later years, he enjoyed golfing, Formula One, and basketball. John was a United States postal carrier for Venice Beach Postal Service until he retired and moved to Lake Havasu City in 1992. John is survived by his long-time friend, Connie Hermann of Hayden, Idaho; good neighbors, Gerald and Linda Stevens and Tami and Denise Fisher of Lake Havasu City; and friend and caregiver, Renee Johnson, of Lake Havasu City.
