| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 24, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Phoebe Eaton was born on July 21, 1939, in Dumas, Arkansas to Annie May Austin and Larkin Lepolean Ward. Phoebe Ann Eaton, went by Ann Eaton her whole life. She was lovingly known as "Raggedy Ann". Following in her parents footsteps in becoming an entrepreneur as a young adult, she became the owner of a fitness center. Following that business, she began working as a travel agent and eventually opened her own travel agency called "Travel Plus", here in Lake Havasu City on Main Street in 1998. She owned and operated the business for 20 plus years. Throughout her life, she was a loving mother and wife. She raised a beautiful family of two daughters and two sons. She was a well-known, and well-loved member of the community for 23 years. Phoebe is survived by her daughters, Debra Schjenken of Baker, Louisiana, and Carla Hans of Prescott; her sons, Randy Hewitt of Sherwood, Arkansas and Joseph Eaton of Lake Havasu City. She also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, Aug 28, 2023, following this schedule at 2225 N. Kiowa Blvd, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404. A family viewing is set for 8 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., followed by a chapel funeral service from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., a procession to Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens from 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., a graveside service from 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to Chili's to share memories over a meal.
