Brother Of Local Man Is Summoned

James Perry Thurber, brother of W. S. (Sky) Thurber of Wickenburg, died 
suddenly in Milton, Mass., Tuesday morning of this week. His death was 
due to a heart attack, suffered at Milton Academy, where he was a 
professor.

Mr. Thurber, who was 62 years of age, visited his brother and Mrs. 
Thurber here in 1949.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Ruth Thurber, who was visiting in 
California at the time of her husband's death, and three children, Mrs. 
Arthur Ortenburger of Los Altos, Calif., James P. Thurber, Jr., also of 
Los Altos and William B. Thurber of Detroit, Mich. Another brother, 
Richard, of Charlotte, Vt., and the mother, Mrs. William B. Thurber of 
Milton, also survive.

It was expected that funeral services would be held Saturday of this 
week.
