MELENDEZ, SR., Arthur Roger

Published by Today's News Herald on Sep. 13, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Arthur Roger Melendez, Sr., known to his friends as Art, passed away on Aug. 19,2023 at the age of 79 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 15, 1944, to Arthur Manuel Melendez and Virginia Arellano. Art was a member of the Elks. He enjoyed golf, motorcycle riding, and baseball. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Arellano, and his brother Robert Patrick. Arthur is survived by his loving partner Carolyn Dunton. He is also survived by his sons; Arthur Roger, Jeffrey Conant, Eric Paul, Guy Louis, Marci Avila, and Ronald Tevis; sisters Gloria Farley and Christina Melendez, 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. A celebration of life is set for Nov. 4, at 11 a.m., located at The Elks Lodge #2399.
