He was born in Barstow, California., on May 12, 1944, to parents Whitey and Billie Walker. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryanne, his father and stepmother, Whitey and Betsy Walker, his mother and stepfather, Billie and Mokie Mollenhour, daughter, Kimberly Walker Miller, Sister, Vivian Walker, and Nephew, Shane Pletcher. He is survived by his first wife and mother of his daughter, Linda Chapman, his granddaughters, Lauren-Ashleigh Christian of Reseda, California, and Alicia Shed of Lake Havasu City, sisters, Twyla Walker of Needles, California, Boots (Richie) Pletcher of Needles, California, Nancy Novaria, and Althea (Desi) Pataky of Yucca Valley, California, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial for John will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 24 at the Needles Elks Lodge, 1000 Lillyhill Drive. Needles, California 92363. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
