Bernhard Robert Leirmoe

Long-time resident and active community member, Bernhard Robert (Bob)
Leirmoe passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 10 at home
in Wickenburg. He was born to Adelaide (Tecklenburg) and Ben Leirmoe on
October 12, 1936, in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY. After high school, Bob
graduated from Pace University and joined the Army, serving honorably in
the U.S. and France. Bob also resided in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and
Owatonna, Minnesota, before moving to Wickenburg upon retirement.

Bob was an active long-time board member of the Wickenburg Community
Services Corp., a 20-year volunteer at the Desert Caballeros Museum,
Humane Society volunteer and LifeLine monitor. Bob was also a committed
blood donor and member of the Red Cross 20-Gallon club. Bob enjoyed
world travel, visiting family and friends across the U.S., bridge and
Bible study. He was a faithful attendee at Mt. Hope, St. Albans and
multiple Bible study groups including those with Rod Hackett at
Wickenburg Bible Fellowship.

Bob is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret; children (of former
wife, Joanne Williams) Kristi Kratzer, Liberty, MO; David (Danielle),
Ramona, CA; and Robert )(Krista) Lamesa, CA; and Margaret's daughters,
Jackie (Joe) Weiss, Chippewa Falls, WI; and Jill Moreno (Nate Stroud),
Owatonna, MN. Bob enjoyed his 10 grandchildren and great-grands.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 19 at 3 p.m. at St. Alban's
Episcopal Church with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. In
lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wickenburg Humane
Society, Hospice of the Valley or charity of choice.
