Edythe Lynn (Crippen) Dietzel

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Edythe (Edie) Lynn Crippen Dietzel was born in Salem, Illinois to
parents Richard and Nelda Crippen. She was an only child until her
parents adopted two boys (Fred & John) when she was 17. When she was age
10, her parents relocated to Arcadia, California and was so excited
because she could go to Disneyland.

Edie & Dennis met through mutual friends and married on Nov. 4, 1966.
They spent the last 27 years in Glendora, California and then moved to
Lake Havasu City before Sept. 11, 2001.

She was an amazing homemaker and raised two boys, David & Scott. Edie &
Dennis loved traveling and saw many places RVing across the United
States, spent lots of time at Lake Powell, and went on 11 cruises
together. She was a member of the Elks, Havasu 4 wheelers, River Cities
4x4, Elks Bridge Club, and was a board member of the golf course HOA.
She was an avid bowler and carried an average of 180 or better.

She leaves behind her husband Dennis of 57 years, her two sons: David
Dietzel (Irene) and Scott Dietzel (Kimberly).

She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Nelda Crippen, and
daughter; Anne Marie.

She had many health issues to overcome and fought a hard battle for over
three years. The family cannot thank HRMC and Beacon of Hope Hospice
enough for the great care they gave her. She is no longer suffering and
is in a better place. Rest in peace.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
