Published by Today's News Herald on Feb. 21, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Dolly Slimp, born Cathi Hicks, left this world with rainbows and love on Feb. 2, 2024. Dolly was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 14, 1951. Dolly is survived by her sisters Debbie Peters, Pamela Yagiela, Sally Schafer and Mary Bordelon, her brother Donald Hicks and stepfather, Gerald Beaver. She leaves behind her eight beloved children and their spouses - Angel (Jeff) Taylor, Simon (Michelle) Lutz, Heidi (Chris) Hallford, Joseph Lutz, Paradise Lutz, Benjamin (Nitu) Lutz, Nathan (Amanda) Lutz and Psalms Lutz. She was honored with 28 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. She also is survived by her husband Dolan Slimp and his daughter Tanya. Dolly is dancing in the sky with her brother Dean and her parents Bruce and Kay. Dolly will always be remembered for her incredible selflessness, her feisty spirit for life and her enormous reservoir of love. Her life revolved around her family and we will miss her more than words can express. Butterfly kisses forever. Rest in Peace Mom.
