Sonya Dian (Vollmer) Miller of Lake Havasu City, AZ, formerly of
Englewood, CO., passed away in her home Nov. 11, 2023 at the age of 85
of Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Denver, CO on May 30, 1938.

Parents are Gerald and Vollmer and Doris (Webb) Vollmer. She is survived
by her husband Phil Miller of Lake Havasu City, AZ; step daughter Robin
Grey (Ken) and step grandchildren Shelby & Chase Grey of Lafayette, CO,
her sister Judy Langford of Rapid City, SD plus cousins, nieces and
nephews in Florida, South Dakota, Arizona and Colorado.

Sonya was a 1956 graduate of Englewood Senior High School who later took
courses from the New York School of Interior Design, Arapahoe Community
College, Colorado Free University and was a member of the American
Society for Personnel Administration.

In the years since her diagnosis, she bore her burden with grace,
dignity, some smiles, cooperation and always of good spirits right up to
the end of her life. This was probably due to her internalization of
Buddhist philosophies. She was a great friend to all that knew or worked
for her and a great wife.

Sonya was President and Co-Owner of Havasu Vegas Express for the past 26
years. Prior to that, Sonya spent many years in Human Resources in
Denver, Colorado and St. Paul, Minnesota. She served as a secretary at
Energetics' Inc. of Denver, CO; the State of Arizona Probation Dept. and
the Judicial Branch of Arizona, County of Mohave. She also was active in
volunteer work for Porter Hospice, Suicide Prevention Hot Line in Denver
and for the Interagency of Lake Havasu City as a Domestic violence Court
Advocate.

She was preceded in death by parents Gerald & Doris Vollmer, son Randal
Richter, sister Gail Bates, brother Gary Vollmer, stepson Alan Miller
and former Husbands Ron Richter and Buddie Woods. Sonya's remains were
cremated with a gravesite service and burial to be held at a later date
in Silver Cliff, CO.

Medical care in her last days provided by River Valley Home Hospice Care
with final arrangements cared for by Bradbury Memorial Center, Lake
Havasu City. Thoughts and condolences can be left for the family and
friends at www.BradburyMemorialCenter.com
