She served as a secretary at Energetics' Inc. of Denver, CO; the State of Arizona Probation Dept. and the Judicial Branch of Arizona, County of Mohave. She also was active in volunteer work for Porter Hospice, Suicide Prevention Hot Line in Denver and for the Interagency of Lake Havasu City as a Domestic violence Court Advocate. She was preceded in death by parents Gerald & Doris Vollmer, son Randal Richter, sister Gail Bates, brother Gary Vollmer, stepson Alan Miller and former Husbands Ron Richter and Buddie Woods. Sonya's remains were cremated with a gravesite service and burial to be held at a later date in Silver Cliff, CO.
