Sue Ann Semmelmann, 82, gracefully departed this world on Jan. 30, 2024,
as the sky blushed with the hues of a setting sun, a fitting tribute to
her radiant spirit. Known for her warm smile, quick wit, and boundless
love for family and friends, Sue's journey to the angels reunites her
with her beloved husband, Chuck, and their cherished son, Scott.

She was born Sue Peplinski on April 28, 1941, in Milwaukee to Loretta
and Clarence Peplinski. She treasured her Wisconsin roots and cherished
memories of summers at her grandmother's cabin alongside her younger
sister, Lori. Sue's life was forever changed when she fearlessly
approached Charles (Chuck) Semmelmann, captivated by his charm and cool
car. Their love blossomed, culminating in marriage on July 7, 1962, at
St. Mary of Czestochowa.

As a devoted mother to Brian, Heidi, Scott, and Todd, Sue's days were
filled with love, managing a bustling household and caring for their
beloved pets. In 1986, the family relocated to Lake Havasu City, where
Chuck's career thrived in boat-making. Sue embraced her new role as the
cherished "Gramma" to her adoring eight grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

A culinary virtuoso, Sue's kitchen was a place of magic, where recipes
came to life under her skilled hands and generous use of butter. Her
impeccable style extended beyond the kitchen, with flawless makeup and
iconic hairstyles crafted by her daughter Heidi. Her retirement in 2015
allowed Sue leisurely Mondays with Heidi, afternoons watching QVC, and
dinners with Todd, where her hospitality shone brightest during family
gatherings.

Sue's zest for life and love was contagious, her storytelling weaving a
tapestry of memories that will endure through generations. Her bond with
Chuck was legendary, a love story transcending time. Sue's final wish
resonates in the hearts of those she cherished: "If you ever miss me,
just look at the sky."

A celebration of life is set for March 9 from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. at 3841
Silver Clipper Lane, Lake Havasu City, where friends and family will
gather to share memories and bask in the warmth of Sue's enduring love.
