Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Michael lost his two-year long struggle with pancreatic cancer on Dec. 
28, 2023 while in Tacoma, Washington where he had been receiving care at 
the Seattle VA . A family service was held in Tacoma on January 10, 2024 
which was his and Joan's 18th wedding anniversary.

Michael's Arizona retirement decision was made while he was stationed in 
Yuma prior to being sent to Vietnam and in October 2012 that became 
reality. His final request was that his ashes be brought to Lake Havasu 
City as he truly loved the lake and the surrounding desert, and the 
community of wonderful friends that both he and Joan had made here.

A celebration of life open to family and friends is planned for April 2, 
2024 at 11 a.m. which will be held at the Lake Havasu Yacht Club, where 
he was a member. The club is located on 631 London Bridge Road.
