Joyce "Verlane" Blake, passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 83.

Verlane was a loving wife of 62 years to her husband, Dave. Verlane was 
a clerk in retail (K-Mart, a veterinarian office and a vitamin store) 
before her retirement and loved reading, yoga, sudoku and Zumba.

Verlane was involved with her local women's book club and Bunco, but 
most of all, she loved her children and will be remembered forever as a 
wonderful mother.

Verlane was a devoted follower of Jesus, and lived by the words of 
scripture, "Love is patient, love is kind...It always protects, always 
trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4,7).
Verlane's love for her family knew no bounds, and this love was the 
guiding light of her life.

Verlane is survived by her husband, Dave; her children, Jeff, Nick, 
Lori, Robin and Katrina.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary. Friends and family are
