peacefully on July 5, 2024.

Darryl was born and raised in Roseau, Minnesota, where he and his fellow
Roseau Rams hockey team won the State Championship in 1959. In fact,
they still hold the State record for an undefeated season. The team

Roseau County Museum. Darryl went on to play Center for the Roseau
Cloverleafs Hockey Team.

also for Polaris and Byfuglien Trucking Company.

After "retiring" from CDC, Darryl and his wife, Norma owned and operated
the Cedarwood Motel in Pine River, MN, while concurrently running a
beach restoration business.

Darryl and Norma moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he enjoyed
riding 4-wheeler, hunting and fishing with his buddies. He was
considered crack shot and his love for the outdoors was passed on to his
children.

Darryl's legacy of kindness, generosity and honor will forever live in
the hearts of those that were lucky enough to know him.

Darryl is preceded in death by; his father, Alfred Heller, Mother,
