PRICE, Larry

Price, Larry William, 70, of Prescott Valley, AZ passed away on December 24, 2010. Born in New 
comerstown, Ohio, June 16, 1940, to Martha Olson. He was raised by his grandparents Otto and 
Charity Olson. He graduated in 1958 from New comerstown High School in Ohio. Larry served in 
the US Navy for 6 years on The USS Menhaden and The USS Snook. His service on these 
submarines took him to Japan, the Philippiines, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Hawaii. He graduated from 
Arizona State University with nuclear and chemical engineering degrees. He was employed by 
Bechtel at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant in Wintersburg, Arizona, and other plants in 
Colorado, Florida, New York, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington and California. He 
is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kay Berssenbruegge Price, his daughters Candy Oen (Danny) & 
Kristi Newman (Justin), and his mother and brother, Martha and Ray Cahoun.
