OBERT, SR., Dennis A.

Published by Today's News Herald from Nov. 26 to Nov. 27, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Dennis A. Obert, Sr., 81, of Phoenix,, died on Nov. 17, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Dennis was born on Aug. 26, 1943, in Cohasset, Massachusetts, to the late Francis A. Obert, Sr. and the late Blanid (Queeney) Obert, residents of Scituate and Truro, Massachusetts. Prior to retiring in Phoenix, Dennis spent many years in Lake Havasu City., He was an alumnus of Archbishop Williams High School, where he was a star football player, and Saint Anselm College. He spent his professional career in residential and commercial construction. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lee Williams Obert, and by four children: Justin Obert (Jacqui), Dennis A. Obert, Jr. (Lauren), Kimberly Obert Desantis, and Michael D. Obert (Enzo Armetta). He was grandfather to 12 grandchildren and to nine great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his siblings, Susan M. Patterson, Sarah Obert-Keefe, Michael J. Obert (Anne), and Joseph G. Obert and was predeceased by his brother, Francis A. Obert, Jr. Even after many years in Arizona, Dennis maintained pride in his family's New England roots. Accordingly, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Archbishop Williams High School at //awhs.org/giving in honor of the Obert Family.
