Stephen Lewis Alexander, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, in
Encinitas, California, surrounded by family and friends. Born on April
26, 1948, Stephen was known for his unwavering loyalty and generosity,
always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Stephen was a devoted father to his two beloved daughters, Megan
Williams and Caitlin Rose Alexander. Megan, along with her husband
Garrett Williams and their daughters Rosalie and Maeve, resides in
Encinitas, California. Caitlin and her husband Jason Kuhn make their
home in Carlsbad, California. Stephen's pride in his daughters was
evident to all who knew him, and he cherished the time spent with his
family.
In recent years, Stephen lived in Yuma with his dear companion, Judy
Lunden. However, following his cancer diagnosis in August, he relocated
to Encinitas to be closer to his daughters during his final months. His
courage and grace during his battle with cancer were a testament to his
strength of character.
Stephen's life was marked by his dedication to his family and friends,
who remember him fondly for his kindness and willingness to support
others. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire those
who had the privilege of knowing him.
Stephen Lewis Alexander will be deeply missed by his family, friends,
and all who were touched by his warmth and compassion. His memory will
live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
