Brenda Erickson passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona, on March 10, 2025. Born Brenda Sue Harris on November 8, 1968,
in Garden Grove, California, she was the beloved daughter of Jerry and
Joan (Murphy) Harris. After completing high school, Brenda went on to
earn her associate's degree in psychology. Her passion for learning
never waned, as she immersed herself in studying the Bible, Judaism,
Hebrew, and the rich history of Israel-a country she deeply admired.
Brenda cherished her role as a homemaker, dedicating 28 loving years to
caring for her husband, David, and their daughter, Amber. She embraced
life's adventures, traveling alongside her husband to destinations such
as New York, London, and Shanghai, where they witnessed a breathtaking
total solar eclipse. Yet, it was Disneyland that always held a special
place in her heart, her happiest escape.
A devoted member of her community, Brenda generously volunteered with
St. Vincent de Paul, proudly served as a federal juror for two years,
and was affectionately known as her husband's personal Rabbi. She leaves
behind a legacy of love and dedication, survived by her husband David
Erickson, daughter Amber Winters, grandchildren Lidya and Leo Winters,
and brothers Steve and Jeff Harris.
