Funeral Arrangements Pending For Two Phoenicians
Funeral arrangement are pending at Webber’s Eastlake Mortuary for two former Phoenicians 
who recently moved to Flagstaff who were killed in a car-truck collision on icy Highway 66 
about 12 miles west of Flagstaff.
David Earls, 52, and his wife, Alice, 50, recently of 2509 E. Broadway, died in the accident late 
Tuesday. Highway patrolmen reported their 1953-model sedan went out of control and collided 
with a truck driven by Virgil Smith of Mound, Minn. Smith escaped injury.
