| Hugh Hempsey Dead Hugh Hempsey died suddenly Sunday morning at about two o'clock of heart failure. He had complained for a day or two previous of pains in the region of his heart. "Kiddo" as he was commonly known, was a native of Pennsylvania and about 40 years of age at the time of his death. Even though crippled in his knee, was a sturdy lumberjack and a big hearted fellow whose faults re-dounded mainly upon his own head. He leaves two sisters in the east and one brother, Arthur Hempsey, who is a resident of Flagstaff. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon and was attended by a goodly number of friends who sincerely mourned his sudden passing to that land beyond the river where temptations come no more.
