SODE, Edward

Mr. Edward D. Sode, 73, retired Chicago paper-box manufacturer and Phoenix resident the past 
12 years, died June 10 at his summer home in Union Pier, Mich. Services and burial were in 
Chicago June 14. Mr. Sode was the builder and owner of Desert Rose Motel, 3225 E. Van Buren. 
He resided at 3322 N. 11th Ave. He is survived by his wife, Rose; a son, Sam, Chicago; two 
daughters, Mrs. Kate Bender, Phoenix, and Mrs. Lily Swartz, Chicago, and three grandchildren.
