ECKLAND, Christopher Charles

Today News Herald published on June 1, 2025 - lake Havasu City, Arizona - Christopher Charles Eckland, born November 19, 1975 to Denise Cullison and Danny Eckland passed away May 13, 2025. Born and raised in Lake Havasu City, he had a love for everything outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in the desert, boating, golfing, fishing, punk rock shows and riding dirt bikes. At 22 years old, he began dating the love of his life. Over the next 27 1/2 years they married, had 2 amazing children and many adventures together. He found joy in teaching his kids how to ride dirt bikes and become self sufficient. Over the years, he worked for several dealerships and small auto shops in Lake Havasu and Kingman. He was a hard worker who would be the first to arrive and last to leave. His devotion to his customers had many of them follow him to every shop he went to. Chris will always be remembered for his infectious smile, playful sense of humor and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Chris is survived by his wife April Eckland, beloved children Kailey and Brandon Eckland, mother Denise Cullison, brother Dylan Eckland, stepbrother Darren Aranda and stepsister Jennifer Aranda. He is proceeded in death by his father Danny Eckland, stepfather William Aranda, grandparents Richard and Eunicia Knipe and grandfather Wallace Eckland. A celebration of life will be announced in the near future.
