Emma Lewis Final rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Emma Lewis, 81, by Elder Felton King at Emanuel Church of God in Christ. Interment followed in Glendale Memorial Park. Born in Cairo, Illinois, Mrs. Lewis came to Phoenix from Detroit, Michigan. A resident of 1849 East Buchanan, she died last Friday in a local hospital. Survivors are: one daughter, Miss Mary Frances Lewis, Phoenix; and two sisters, Mrs. Effie Hunter and Mrs. Alice Owens, both of Texas. Eastlake Mortuary made arrangements. Arizona Sun May 23, 1957
