James Porter
Services for James Porter, 8 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Stuart, 1543 W. Cocopah were 
held last Saturday at the House of Prayer For All Nations, Church of God in Christ. Eider George 
Johnson officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Church.
James came to Phoenix with his parents four years ago from Columbus, Arkansas, where he 
was born. He was a third grade student at May Methune School and was a member of the 
Sunbeam Choir at House of Prayer. The boy died July 24 in a local hospital.
Surviving relatives in addition to his parents are two brothers, Luther and Eddie Edsel, aunt, 
Mable Porter, three uncles, Delaney, Mack and Kay C. Porter, all of Phoenix.
Ragsdale Mortuary made arrangements.
