She was born on August 7, 1993 in Yuma and graduated from Yuma High School in 2012. Letty worked as a waitress at Brewers Restaurant and Sports Bar at the Yuma International Airport, and Crazy Earl's Cocktails & Pool in Fortuna Foothills. Letty is survived by her son, Vincent Velez; mother, Cyndi Villarreal, of Yuma; her brothers, Jacob Nevarez of Phoenix, Jessie Ayala and Joshua Gonzalez of Yuma; grandmother, Josie Cimatu of Yuma, and great grandmother, Paula Vea of Somerton, Arizona. She leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles who loved her dearly. A viewing and visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Chapel service will take place at the same venue on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 9:00 am followed by a graveside service at 10:00 am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. We wish to acknowledge our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the generous community support and the love expressed by her friends. Our Letty is gone but not forgotten.
