Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, July 25, 1958, p. 1 Man Dies Of Burns Received In Shower James Maury (sic: Jesse Mowery), 65-year-old Phoenix resident, died in Community Hospital July 18 from burns which he said he received while taking a shower in a Flagstaff motel. He said he was taking a shower the evening of July 12 when the handle came off the hot water faucet and he was burned before he could get out. He said he remained in Flagstaff that night then took a bus for Phoenix. In Wickenburg he was removed from the bus and taken to the hospital by ambulance. There, according to his physician, it was found that 35 per cent of his body had been scalded. The body was removed to Phoenix for funeral services and burial
