In Loving Memory of Jason Lee Ortiz
>> 09/29/1989 – 06/07/2025 <<
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Jason Lee Ortiz, age 35, who tragically lost his life in a car accident
on June 7, 2025, alongside his cherished wife Madaleine Proper and their
precious daughter JenniLee Ortiz.
Born on Sept. 29, 1989, in Montclair, California, Jason was a devoted
husband, a loving father, a loyal friend and a dedicated employee. He
lived his life with integrity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to
his family. His infectious smile, generous spirit, and love for life
touched everyone he met.
Jason was passionate about his family and friends, music and
photography, pool and truly just living life to the fullest. Whether he
was off in nature taking photos of this world’s beauty, teaching his
daughter how to play the guitar, teaching his youngest how to fish,
making everlasting memories with his wife, or just enjoying life and
making memories with those who he loved and cared about, he brought
enthusiasm and warmth to everything he did, and the humor to crack a
laugh in the process.
Together with Madaleine, his wife and partner in life, and their sweet
little girl, JenniLee, they created a home full of laughter, love, and
beautiful memories. Their bond was one of deep love and unity, and their
passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew them.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Jaslynn Lee Ortiz; his mother and
stepfather, Valarie & Dan Foote; his siblings; Mickey Ortiz, Katy Ortiz,
Heather Reed, Kristy Ortiz, Christian Foote, Gabriel Ortiz ; extended
family; and a wide circle of friends, coworkers and the endless lives
Jason impacted will miss him dearly. Though his time here was far too
short, the love he shared and the impact he made will remain with us
forever.
A memorial service will be held on Aug. 2, 2025, at The Kingdom of God
Church, located at 4425 N. Shadow Rd, in Kingman, AZ with a celebration
of his life to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for
donations to his GoFundMe (link: https://gofund.me/d0a6e40a ) to create
a trust for his only surviving child, Jaslynn Lee Ortiz.
Rest in peace, Jason Lee Ortiz, Madaleine Proper, and Jenni Lee Ortiz.
Your love and light will never be forgotten.
