It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gerald
Wisowaty, born on August 26, 1948, who left us too soon on July 2, 2025.
Gerald was an embodiment of dedication, reliability, and loyalty,
qualities that shone throughout his life and endeared him to all who had
the privilege to know him. A retired Chief Warrant Officer, Gerald's
life was a testament to service, commitment, and an enduring love for
his country. He was a steadfast pillar in the community and a driving
force in his bowling league, his love for the game rivaling only his
love for fishing and golf.
Gerald's zest for life was contagious. He was never one to shy away from
an adventure, as evidenced by his later-in-life discovery of skiing.
Yet, his greatest adventure began at a disco in Germany, where he met
Iris, his devoted wife of 29 years and beloved partner of 41 years. Iris
was the center of Gerald's universe, his true north, and the love he
held for her was evident to all who knew them. He was also deeply adored
by his in-laws in Germany.
We also celebrate the life of a man whose dedication, reliability, and
loyalty made him a beacon of light in our lives. We invite you to share
your memories and upload photos of Gerald to the memorial page,
preserving the legacy of a man whose life was a testament of love,
service, and unwavering dedication.
