Angela Mayson, born in January 1941 in Los Angeles, California to Wilbur
& Arline Bryan, passed away on July 5th in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jim & brother Dave.
Angela graduated from Hollywood High where she was a member of the Alpha
Beta Cappa high school sorority. After high school, she spent a year
traveling through Europe by motorcycle and Volkswagen bug. She went on
to UCLA where she received her Master’s degree in Social Work.
In 1965 she married Dr. James Mayson in Los Angeles & they resided in
Irvine, CA & later lived on the island of Oahu, where she enjoyed
surfing longboards. Upon returning to California, they resided
in Newport Beach, then Balboa Island, & eventually Riverside, California
where she received her X-ray Technician license & worked for the
Riverside Industrial Medical Clinic.
After retiring, Angela spent several years in Durango, Colorado where
she was an accomplished watercolor artist, as well as an avid
photographer. Her son Thomas & daughter-in-law Rachel, daughter Lucile &
four grandchildren James, Lila, Chloe, & Lelia, survive her.
