James Thomas ("Tom") Ross passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 75
in Lake Havasu City.
Tom was born on Nov. 7, 1949 in San Diego to Harold C. Ross and Susie
Maxine Ross. He was raised in San Diego, California. His youth was spent
surfing, dirt biking, and travelling to Rio Hardy, Mexico with his
uncles, aunts and many cousins.
Tom served in the US Army from 1970-1972. he had a variety of jobs and
hobbies, including building and flying hot air balloons, racing RC cars,
painting with watercolors and sailing. He had a deep love for music,
which he expressed in a variety of ways from seeing his favorite bands
playing live to crafting the perfect home stereo system.
Tom settled in Garden Grove, California near his parents to raise his
two daughters. He retired from Rima Enterprises in 2010.
tom moved to Lake Havasu City in 2020 to satisfy his dream of retiring
to the desert to enjoy the heat and beautiful scenery. He loved his time
in the desert, especially tiding side-by-sides and watching the sunsets
from his back patio.
Tom is survived by his loving partner of 25 years, Ivy Kreuz, his two
daughters Jessica (Matt) Ross and Lindsay (Michael) Ross, and one
beautiful granddaughter, Eden.
