Berneice M. Finney Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Jan. 4, 1915. Departed on May 4, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Berneice Mitchell Finney, 87, of Cottonwood died May 4, 2002. She was born January 31, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She married Thomas Finney and they moved to the Seattle, Washington area. She has been a resident of Cottonwood since 1999. Survivors include two sons and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Finney and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Finney both of Wash.; grandchildren, Katie and Ryan; a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sprere and a cousin, Beverly Scott, both of Cottonwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Finney and a son, Christopher Finney. Memorial services will be held in the Verde Valley Christian Church on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. Westcott Funeral Home is directing arrangements.
