CHIRHART, Cheryl Darlene

Published by Today's News Herald on August 20, 2025 - lake Havasu City, Arizona - Cheryl Darlene Chirhart, age 76, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed peacefully at home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 9th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother Virginia (Kleinert) Elsner, her father Rawling Smith, and her son David Michael Wright. She is survived by her husband, Gary James Chirhart, her son, Thomas Tyrone Wright, daughter-in-law, Patrice (Boschert) Wright, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her siblings Joanne, Diana, Clem and Richard. After retiring from Cisco Systems, she devoted her time to hosting family and friends at home, boating on the lake, hanging out with the Elks, and embarking on the road with Gary in their RV to visit loved ones around the country. Cheryl will be remembered for her boundless love, thoughtfulness and generosity. Her spirit lives on in our love for her and the cherished memories she left behind. Her family takes comfort knowing she has been reunited with loved ones that went before and she continues to watch over us. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
